Making a Party Checklist | ZONE BOWLING

'Tis the season to host parties, and whether these are end-of-year work functions or smaller get-togethers with family and friends, there's a lot of work that goes into organising an event. The whole process can be a bit overwhelming, so to help you out, we at ZONE BOWLING have put together a handy checklist of everything you need to do.
Let's take a look.
Make an invitation list
This is easy if you're sorting out a work function, but for other parties the list may be a bit more complex. The main thing to keep in mind is not to forget anybody, especially if they'll find out and take the exclusion personally. To make the process easier, go through your phone or address book. That way, you can be sure you've at least considered everybody you know, rather than trying to create a guest list from memory.
Plan the menu
Organising food can either be very tough or incredibly easy, depending on where you're hosting the party. One of the best ways to make the process simpler is to choose a venue that already offers great food and drink. If you do that, all you need to do is let people look through the menu and choose what they'd like. They might prefer a more structured meal though, in which case you should talk to the venue staff well in advance and sort out which platters, meals or nibbles you'd like to come out at different stages of the night.
Decide on a theme early
Part of getting into the festive spirit is dressing up, but nobody appreciates a last minute text telling them that they somehow need to procure a Game of Thrones costume with three hours notice. Don't be that person. Instead, decide on your theme well in advance and give your guests plenty of time to hit the shops. It can take a while to find the right outfit, so the more time you give people, the better the turnout on the night.
Prepare a schedule
The best parties always seem a little bit off the cuff, but behind that there's usually a very clear structure of how the night will unfold. If you're going to play a few rounds of bowling, make sure you know whether they will be before or after the food. Nobody enjoys aimlessly milling around while people decide what to do, so take charge and make the evening your own!
As long as you're prepared, you can be fully confident that the party will be a smashing success, and if you have any other questions you can get in touch with ZONE BOWLING!
