Meet Christine from ZONE BOWLING Villawood

At ZONE we always put our Team First and make sure that the fun that all of our guests have is a reflection of our team members at each venue across Australia. Next time you book in and visit us there will be a friendly member of the team on hand to make sure your experience is the best on offer. So without further ado, meet one of our friendliest faces from the team, Christine, Venue Manager at ZONE BOWLING Villawood.

How long have you been working at ZONE BOWLING?

I have been with ZONE BOWLING for almost 8 years. Started in December of 2009 as a café attendant, moved to Assistant Manager Castle Hill, the Venue Manger at Hornsby and now at Villawood where I absolutely love to be.

What do you love most about the ZONE BOWLING Team?

What I love most about the ZONE BOWLING Team, well starting with my team here at Villawood we are like family, we work together well and support each other through the great times and times that we struggle. My team is always willing to put their best efforts into the business and our guests. What I love about the whole team is that we work together and support each other especially venues within our region, we always make sure that each venue is well supported.

What’s your highest ever Bowling score?

If you could bowl against anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?

If I could bowl against anyone it would be my disability groups that come in on a regular basis, the ones I know by name, they always have so much fun cheering each other on high 5’s all around and they would care that I don’t bowl well at all.

What is the funniest thing that has happened on the lanes?

I would have to say the funniest thing that has happened on the lanes would be when my staff decide to do dance offs, whether it is the Nutbush, the Macarena. They often get the guests to join in, some of my staff are not at all embarrassed to sing or dance in centre.

What is your favourite time of year?

My favorite time of the year is when we are at our busiest - School Holidays! The excitement of having so many people in here. Having lots of people in here keeps us on our toes and the team is motivated.

Who would you invite to a ZONE BOWLING party?

I would invite : George Clooney (cause I could just look at him all day) Mark Wahlberg, ( and I could look at him as well) Mel B from the spice girls. Guy Sebastian, plus the cast from Kath and Kim.

What’s your favourite ice cream?

I have two Favorite Ice Creams 1 is Bubble O Bill, and Gaytime
