For the fourth year in a row,  the celebration of International Day of People with Disability was a huge success,  celebrating the annual event with team and guests across the country.

The event was held from 10AM- 3PM in ZONE BOWLING venues with many kicking off the day with an Opening Ceremony and an opening bowl by one of our guests. In spirit of the celebrations. our guests and their carers were welcomed with free bowling across the day and there were plenty of strikes on score cards!

With over 159 groups visiting and enjoying bowling at their nearest venue, groups from local schools, charity groups & visitors with their carers ended up bowling more than 2,300 games and knocking over thousands of pins in the process.

One of the highlights of the day was the turnout from Peakhurst High School at ZONE BOWLING Revesby. All together there were 4 classes of students with a total of 20 bowlers in action, travelling 45 minutes by public transport to get to venue, with the all of the students loving the outing and enjoying the big, bright venue! The teachers and carers stated they can’t wait to celebrate next year, making it an annual day out for the students.
