Get a free game of bowling this December

We have much to look forward to as November nears its end: school holidays, the official start of summer and, of course, Christmas. But the start of the year's final month is important for another reason. December 3 marks a very special day in the Australian calendar. Every year on this day, the world comes together to celebrate the International Day of People with Disabilities.
What is it?
Officially sanctioned by the United Nations, this day aims to increase public awareness and understanding of people with disabilities and celebrate their achievements. The Australian government has been supporting this day since 1996, funding events all over the country.
One such event is the National Disability Awards, which honours the incredible work of those who devote themselves to making the lives of people living with a disability easier. This year, the awards took place on November 25 in Canberra at Parliament House and showcased the fantastic efforts of the people working in this sector.
Where can you join the party?
ZONE BOWLING is always down for a celebration, particularly when it's for such an amazing cause. Be a part of this special day when you bring your family and friends down to one of our many ten pin bowling centres. Start with a delicious meal of burgers, hot dogs or one of our other gourmet food options, then head on over to our arcade centre for a range of traditional and modern arcade games. You could even squeeze in a round of laser tag if you're so inclined.
The main event? From 10.a.m. to 3.p.m. ZONE BOWLING is offering free games of bowling to all people with disability and their carers for this day only. Shoe hire is also included, so there's no reason not to take advantage of this fun way to learn about how you can encourage acceptance and understanding of disabilities in your community. We'll see you there!
