Bowl Patrol teaches kids to bowl with two hands!

Famous for his two-handed bowling, the nine-time Professional Bowling Association’s (PBA’s) Major winner Jason Belmonte, is the new Bowl Patrol ambassador! The 35-year-old is a father of three Bowl Patrollers, has passed on some of the tricks of the trade to our Lane Rangers (Bowl Patrol’s coaches) across the country.

“Growing bowling in Australia is very important to me – it’s my home and it’s where I first fell in love with the sport” says Jason from his home in Orange, NSW. Google ‘Jason Belmonte’ to be amazed by his incredible skill, from Dude Perfect trick shots to winning world championships.

Belmonte’s achievement of 18 PBA Titles and four PBA Player of the Year awards can only mean he knows exactly what he’s doing when it comes to knocking down pins.

He encourages kids to give 2-handed bowling a try under the guidance of qualified Bowl Patrol Lane Rangers. Leaving a few fingers out of the ball, supporting it with the other hand, and developing your own style of ‘run up’ are all included in the Bowl Patrol program at participating centres.
